We had the honor and pleasure of receiving at the Embassy the delegation from the Union of Nurses and Health Technicians of the Republic of Serbia, who were on a study visit to Lisbon, continuing the cooperation with Portuguese health institutions started in the last decade. In a cordial conversation with the visitors, we heard their impressions from the visit to their Portuguese colleagues, as well as reflections on the similarities and differences between our health systems.
The delegation from the Union of Nurses and Health Technicians of the Republic of Serbia visited Santa Maria Hospital on March 19th, where the institution's nurses prepared a warm welcome. A guided tour was organized to various hospital sites, one of the stops being vascular surgery. This was an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and discussion on different perspectives in the field of nursing, as well as for strengthening ties and professional exchange.

The ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Portugal, Ana Ilić, had the honor of presenting her credentials to the president of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves, thus becoming the non-resident ambassador of Serbia to that country. Ambassador Ilić had previously delivered copies of the credentials to the Foreign Minister of Cape Verde, Rui Alberto de Figueiredo Soares, with whom she discussed strengthening bilateral relations between our two friendly countries.

On the occasion of the end of the Spanish presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa organized a gala dinner on December 11th for the ambassadors of the EU member countries, as well as for the highest diplomatic representatives of the candidate countries for accession to the EU accredited in Lisbon.

Ambassador Ana Ilić was present at the gala dinner, during which she had the opportunity to discuss Serbia's European path with her fellow ambassadors.
