Decision on visa free entry to the Republic of Serbia

At its meeting of 30 October 2014, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decision on visa free entry to the Republic of Serbia for holders of foreign passports having a valid Schengen, UK and other EU member States' visa, or visa of the United States of America, and for holders of foreign passports having residence permit in the countries of the Schengen area, EU or the United States of America, which entered into force on 8 November 2014.

Transport of the collected humanitarian aid to Serbia

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Lisbon wishes to thank all Portuguese citizens and Serbs in Portugal and the Portuguese companies that contributed to aid the flood victims in Serbia.

This aid, which consists of more than 10 tons of various goods was transported by truck by the Portuguese company Clover Technologies Group and will be delivered to the most needy through the Red Cross of Serbia.

Monetary donations made through the special account of the Embassy, as well as the donations raised through the humanitarian telephone number, 7.693,43 EUR in total, will be directed to the common fund of Serbia to acquire most urgent resources.

Finally, the Embassy wishes to thank Mr. Simão Matos, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Oporto, and Ms. Nora Bogdanović from Albufeira for their efforts to collect help and all those who participated in preparing it for shipment.

Book of Condolences

21.05.2014.

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia informs that will open a Book of Condolences, due to the tragic floods that are devastating Serbia in the premises of the Embassy in Rua de Alcolena No.11, on 22 and 23 May, between 10.00 AM and 04.00 PM.


Acknowledgements

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia wishes to thank all the individuals and institutions who have offered assistance to the Serbian people affected by the floods.
